We can’t wait to get married at the Atlantida Beach Bar in Paphos, Cyprus on the 27 October 2022. Get your sundresses and flip flops ready!

Here you’ll find everything you need to know and a handy RSVP form to let us know you’re attending. We need to know by March 2022 if you can make it.

The Venue

Everything will take place in the Atlantida Beach Bar, Paphos. The ceremony will be overlooking the beach and the sea, the party will be in the bar itself. A perfect place to unwind with a Prosecco or cocktail in hand!

Accommodation and Flights

Skyscanner is the best place for finding cheap flights. The cheapest place to fly is Larnaca, and then get a transfer through to where you’re staying. We are flying out on Saturday 22 October and our honeymoon starts Friday 28 October. Flight at the moment (Jan) are about £200 per person although we know this will go up and down the closer to October we get.

You can stay wherever you like in Cyprus but if you’d like to be within walking distance of us we are staying in Coral Bay. The map below is a rough location of where we will be staying. Coral bay is well set up for tourists with a nice beach, a main strip with restaurants and bars and frequent buses in and out of Paphos until midnight.

The best deals can be found on booking.com or airbnb and we would recommend staying anywhere in Coral Bay or Paphos. Paphos is an awesome city with lots to do including a water park, historical sites, a promenade across the beach front and an Escape room!

On the day

14:00 Arrive at Atlantida and make your way to the beach bar at the back of the venue. Get yourself a drink. The start of many to come, I hope!

15:00 The “I Dos” begin!

15:30 More drinking. Photos. The works!

16:00 Sometime around here we’ll sit down for dinner. No table plan, just stick with the people you like and avoid the ones you don’t. Marc and I will be offended if we’re the ones you avoid.

18:00 Back to the beach bar. The bar is open now, The DJ is in the sand and you can party like it’s 1999.

Dress Code? Summer smart casual. Wear what makes you feel happy (no birthday suits and no offensive/big brand logos on T-shirts please!). It’ll be about 25 degrees during the day and about 15 degrees at night. Check BBC weather just in case. Shorts, dresses, barefoot… All good! There will be photos that we will hang on our wall forever… just saying.

Food? We’ve made a special request for our vegans/veggies so please let us know with the dietary requirements if you have something important we need to know.

Children randomly jump in the sea and they are completely soaked? The venue is really child friendly and they’re used to children running around. There will be showers so bring a towel and spare change of clothes.

Things to do in Paphos/Coral Bay

  1. Paphos Archeological park Wander around ruins and see incredible mosaics and visit the Tomb of the King!
  2. Paphos water park suitable for all ages!
  3. Lockdown the escape room. Little on the easy side but great for beginners!
  4. A turtle cruise See turtles through the glass bottom of a boat and go snorkelling! Come and join us 🙂
  5. Adonis waterfalls Apparently this is very romantic and beautiful if you want to swim at the base of a waterfall
  6. Relax by a pool/the sea and read a book, you deserve it!
  7. Visit a spa for some self care
  8. Hang out with Mandi and Marc- we’ll arrange some drinks and activities as soon as we know when you’re arriving
  9. Drop your children off at some poor unsuspecting member of the wedding party and “get lost” at a local bar. We loved the Beeroom Craft Pub in Paphos, and we won’t tell anyone if we see you there.
  10. Quad biking!

Our Story

I knew Marc was special from the first moment I laid eyes on him. We’d been chatting online for a couple of weeks before meeting at Costa Coffee on the 17 June 2018. I was so nervous, but then I saw him waiting for me from a distance, his face lit up and he waved and that was that. It was by far the best first date I’ve ever had, but then for both of us the bar had been set pretty low.

I think Beyonce has had a big influence on Marc. He liked it so he put a ring on it. During a downpour, on top of St Catherine’s Hill.

We can’t wait to get married and we hope that you will come and celebrate with us. Feel free to drink too much and regret your choices when the cameras come out.

XOXO
